Pipe Detailing
provides a full & complete set of Piping/Sheetmetal detailed
drawings.
Provide copies of completed Plans,
Sections & Elevations drawings will be plotted on 30"
x 42" reproducible bond with your title block sheet.
Provide (1) copy of all electronic
files on CD at end of project.
All Piping/Sheetmetal detailed
drawings will be provided with dimensional layout and shall
include elevations.
Coordination of Piping/Sheetmetal
with any other trade that provides information at the time of
detailing each area. (If other trades submit information at
the time of detailing)
All Mechanical, Equipment and
Central Plant rooms shall be produced at a scale of 1/4"=1'-0"
Provide typical details of equipment
All piping 2 1/2" and larger
shall be detailed for possible fabrication spools
Provide Fabrication Spools (if
requested)
Provide Hanger Locations (if requested)
Provide equipment pad layout.
Sheetmetal:
Sheetmetal Detailed shop drawings
will be detailed in 2D at 1/4"=1'-0" and will show
the routing of ductwork closely following the contract drawing.
The duct will be detailed to miss structure and other trades.
(if other trades submit information at the time of detailing)
Duct can be drawn to match your
shop standards (as approved by mechanical engineer) so the shop
drawings will be as accurate as possible.
Dimensions showing ductwork and
gridline relationship (or walls where needed)
All ductwork will show size, length
of each piece and bottom elevation (BOD). Fittings will also
show throat length or radius, amount of rise or fall and amount
of offset.
Riser duct(s) will be shown (if
required)
A Bill of Materials in Excel spreadsheet
format. Indicating all duct joints, elbows, grilles and dampers
can be provided. (If requested before beginning of project)
Exact placement of VAVs, TAUs,
EFs and AC Units showing access area required.
Pad drawings of Air Handler Units
Placement of registers and grilles
per Architectural grid layout.
RFIs (Requests for Information)
will be clouded on the drawings with your reference number.
RFIs can be written on your letterhead or form if requested.
*** All shop drawings can be detailed
in 3D if required for coordination.
Shop drawings will show your company
logo (if provided), company name and address.
